Sometimes jazzy and typically goofy, Champagniacs! is a New Orleans based trio that keep the toes tapping and jaws dropping. Founded by virtuosic swing guitarist Russell Welch III in 2019, he had the vision to combine his songbook of originals and trad tunes with violinist Dr. Sick's showbiz sensibilities and the low end brilliance of Hank West on sousaphone. They took an extended break which started during the pandemic lockdown, and reformed in 2023, stronger than ever, with a newfound zany approach to their setlist. They can bring you to tears with Chopin, or make you Lindy Hop to Beyonce. Magic happens when the 3 fellas try to make each other laugh with their musicianship, wowing audiences every time.
